FORTUNE

TELLERS

Why You Should Become a Fortune Teller F

The mission of the Fortune Tellers program is to inspire and empower a new generation of thinkers and leaders by fusing history, art and civic responsibility into a rich cultural experience that serves the greater good of society.

The T. Thomas fortune Foundation invites students from 8th through 12th grades to participate in its Fortune Tellers program. The program is designed for those who wish to gain a deeper understanding of social justice.

Those in the program work with professional artists, historians and community leaders and get the chance to attend workshops, trainings, participate in community projects and act as ambassadors for the center. Through this opportunity, activists in training who take part build their writing and communication skills, and use the visual arts, music, technology to share what they’ve learned in order to affect change.
